Noida plans five new foot over-bridges

NOIDA: The Noida Authority will soon develop five new foot over-bridges (FOBs) to facilitate pedestrians’ crossing at busy locations. The second FOB will be developed near City Centre metro station.The other FOBs will be developed on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway near Mahamaya Flyover, Dadri-Surajpur-Challera (DSC) road in Challera village and near Sector 121-122. These FOBs will come up in commercial areas, near metro stations and residential sectors. This will also curb jaywalking and ensure safety of pedestrians.The Authority has also floated five tenders to develop these FOBs under build-operate-transfer basis. The contractors will develop the projects and generate revenue through advertisement.
