Prime Minister on way, police van breaks down in middle of road

The cops in the PCR pushed the vehicle to aside and it was not a part of the PM’s fleet of vehicles. With the PCR van off the road, the PM’s cavalcade smoothly made its way into the venue.The incident, however, brought back memories of loopholes in security arrangements during the PM’s visit to Noida in December 2017. NOIDA: A police van on Monday broke down in the middle of a road that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was to take to reach the Expo Mart and had to be pushed by four policemen to a side. Though Modi was supposed to come in a chopper, his cavalcade took the road to the city. The cops merely pushed it to a side to avoid the cavalcade getting stuck.
