They had four pistols and around 15 debit cards that they had snatched on the pretext of offering lifts. Police said two cabs, which are mostly likely stolen and were used to rob the commuters at gunpoint, were recovered from the gang. If the passengers failed to give cash, they were forced to reveal passwords and withdraw money from their debit cards at gunpoint,” said Vaibhav Krishna, the Gautam Buddha Nagar SSP. Around Rs 5,000 in cash, jewellery and several debit cards were found on them.With the cab gang being busted, police claimed to have solved 15 robbery cases registered at Sector 39, Surajpur and Kasna police stations. Greater Noida: A gang of eight men was arrested from near the Sector 40 U-turn for allegedly robbing commuters on the pretext of giving them lifts.The accused were identified as Pushpendra, Ravi Kumar and Shiv Kumar, residents of Aligarh.
