Pappu alleged that the main gate of the substation was broken and the shutter of the main room of the panel box open.According to the FIR lodged on Thursday, the children — Golu (10) from Moradabad, Sagar (12), a resident of Bulandshahr who studied in Class II and Rinkoo (10) from Mahoba, another Class II student — were playing in Phi 3 sector near the substation. They had inadvertently entered the premises of the substation.“Due to the high voltage current in the panel, the kids got electrocuted. Ajay Kumar, the SHO of Kasna police station, said an FIR had been lodged and arrests would also be made after investigation.Meanwhile, after news of the FIR spread, NPCL officials met the family members of one of the children at their office.Pappu told TOI that officials of NPCL had contacted them and he had visited the office along with some residents of Vrinda City.All the children belonged to poor families.
