Greater Noida: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a schoolmate in a Jewar village on Monday. Police have registered a case based on the complaint of the girl’s father. The boy, along with three other students who were with him, is on the run. Police are yet to ascertain if all the four boys are minors.On Tuesday, the girl’s father filed a police complaint alleging that the accused are the girl’s school mates. While the girl studies in Class V, the accused are her seniors in school.“My daughter had gone missing on Monday evening after which we found her in a forested area in an unconscious state. She was in shock for almost a day and after that she spoke to us about the incident. She revealed that four boys had stopped her on the way back from school.“They allegedly took her to a secluded room in a forested area where one of the accused raped her while the other boys watched the gate. We demand strict action against the accused,” reads the complaint of the girl’s father. SS Bhati, the SHO, Jewar police station, said a case had been registered and the girl has been sent for a medical examination.“A case has been registered under sections 376 ( rape ) and 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage modesty) of the IPC, along with sections 3 and 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act ,” said Bhati.
