Election Commission observer inspects booths

Jewar: N Ramaswami, the Election Commission observer for Gautam Budh Nagar, inspected poll arrangements for the Jewar Lok Sabha constituency on Saturday, including booths at Jahangirpur, Dayanatpur and Chauroli. He also inspected vulnerable and critical booths in the area. He gave guidelines for the installation of CCTV cameras at entry and exit points. Ramaswami was accompanied by Gunja Singh, deputy collector of Jewar, and Sharad Chandra Sharma, the police chief.Earlier in the day, the district magistrate held a voter awareness meet where he encouraged residents to come out and vote in large numbers.
