Noida: A video of a portion of the roof of the very popular DLF Mall of India in Noida collapsing has gone viral on the internet. The video of the roof collapsing raising a cloud of dust in the area has gone viral, raising alarm among locals. Some social media users went on to say that the DLF mall in Noida may have to remain shut for several months after the damages it suffered due to the roof collapse.

Local police authorities have said they have received several calls from locals about the roof collapse after the video started doing the rounds.

However, mall authorities have said it was part of a renovation drive at the mall to ensure social distancing. The mall authorities also said that the video is over a month old. Nyoooz could not independently verify the incident.
