Noida to get new bus terminal at Botanical Garden

Noida: The Noida Authority will soon build a bus terminal at Botanical Garden in Sector 38. CEO Lokesh M has asked officials to prepare a detailed report on developing a bus terminal with high-end amenities for those visiting the Botanical Garden.The terminal will be developed as a major point of connection between Noida and other parts of western Uttar Pradesh, the CEO said.The official added that the terminal will be equipped with adequate seating facilities, washrooms, charging stations, and eateries along with space for travellers and drivers to rest in between their journeys. Also, provisions for parking vehicles will be made near Vinayak Hospital.During the visit, the CEO also instructed officials to review the cleaning work, present an action plan for covering the drain from GIP Mall to the Botanical Garden, set up a kiosk for the convenience of the public, redesign the footpath, repair broken speed breakers and make a parking ramp.Seeing roads getting inundated with sewer water due to a broken sewer pipe in the working BOT toilet near the botanical garden, the CEO suspended the concerned junior engineer for laxity under his supervision. The salary of the sanitation inspector is discontinued till further notice and a show cause notice has also been issued, added Lokesh M.The Noida Authority officials said that in addition to the existing routes, the new terminal will strengthen the intercity connectivity as well.As of now, the buses from Botanical Garden bus stand connect to Surajpur, Greater Noida West, and other metro stations along with some points in Delhi.
