The buyers had visited chief minister Yogi Adityanath to get their concerns heard regarding delayed possession. After a push from the state government, Noida and Greater Noida Authority had kick started a series of meetings with the buyers and builders on board. Several builders were made to submit commitments of delivery schedule. Some builders were provided amnesty on lease debts. Some builders also got an opportunity to return unused land to the authority to clear their debts. However, the buyers claim, when it comes to real impact on ground, nothing much has come to fruition."In the middle of all the talks and exchanges, the buyers are running pillar to post. We are specifically worried about those builders who are delayed by five to seven years. When are we going to get our houses finally? We are again taking recourse to demonstrations and protests because we kept silent for several months, but so no real impact," Kumar added.
