Hoping to invest about Rs 5,000 crore to set up industry across 500 hectares of land, the delegation from the department for international trade met CEO Arunvir Singh . The delegation also expressed interest in the global bid for constructing the sanctioned international airport at Jewar.According to YEIDA officials, the team was informed about the available land parcels for industrial use. "They want about 500 hectares of land to set up an industry in YEIDA. We have identified contiguous land to them. We have informed the delegation about various infrastructure development projects coming up in the area and those companies that already have a presence like LAVA," said Singh. "Facts of availability of land, land rates, location, FAR policy, land use terms and conditions, have also been shared with them," he added. "We also made a presentation of our areas and its advantages in terms of connectivity, accessibility, our online allotment system, industrial-friendly policies of the state and initiatives for ease of doing business," he said. "The delegation led by Mukul Verma , senior trade & investment adviser, has promised to submit a formal proposal by next month," the CEO declared.Singh further said the delegation also showed an interest in constructing the upcoming airport project. "As per the delegation, they already have the requisite experience of providing consultancy services in constructing, designing and planning architecture of airports. We have asked them to participate in the global tender, which is likely to be initiated on August 21," he added.
