Data sharing and accessibility portal launched in Sikkim

The first data sharing and accessibility portal of Sikkim has been launched by Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling. Besides the State Data Sharing and Accessibility Platform (SDSAP), the State Direct Benefit Transfer portal was also launched at a programme here on Thursday. It would increase transparency in the functioning of the government and open avenues for more innovative uses of official data. The official said the state Information Technology Department would upload data in the portals twice a year - in April-May and September-October. These two portals are information management systems for quick and easy recording and dissemination of statistical data by government officials.
