Sources said that at least six Chinese passports were taken away by Patna police from the guest house. Sources said that some of the Chinese nationals were issued business visa and their actual motive to come India were being verified. He said the passport and visa of all the Chinese nationals were being verified.Later, another raid was carried out at the cellphone’s office located on first and second floor of Razia Palace near Reserve Bank of India under Gandhi Maidan police station from were more than Rs 9 lakh were seized. Patna police sources said that firm’s official were unable to properly explain the source of the cash.Sources said the raid was actually carried out by Patna police after receiving tip-off from central intelligence agencies that some suspected Chinese nationals were holed up in Patna on business visa instead of working visa and were showing themselves as employees of the cellphone firm but the raid yielding recovery of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) resulted Tiandong’s immediate arrest.The guest house was a four floored residence owned by one Shahid Anwar Imam. Chinese National & an employee of Oppo, Wu ChuangYong, who was staying at a building rented by the company in Patna… https://t.co/42fK7cAw1r — ANI (@ANI) 1529260702000PATNA: Patna police arrested a Chinese national identified as Tiandong from a guest house of a Chinese cellphone manufacturing firm located at Alinagar under Gardanibagh police station in Patna on late Sunday evening for violation of prohibition laws enforced in Bihar Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj said police were waiting for another Chinese national Wu Chuangyong to return Patna after which he would be arrested too.“Police called him on his cellphone to which he replied that he would return soon,” the SSP said adding he was either in Bhagalpur or Begusarai district of Bihar.“One IMFL bottle was recovered from room number 201-B in which Chuangyong was living while two liquor bottles were recovered from room number 220-B allotted to Tiandong in the guest house of Imam,” the SSP said.He said altogether nine Chinese nationals including two females were living at the guest house at Alinagar and police were verifying that on what basis they were associated with the cellphone manufacturing firm.
