3,000 likely to attend mass yoga session on Thursday

Buddha Colony resident Ayushi Singh said, “My cousins and I are planning to go to the Patliputra Sports Complex to learn some yoga asanas this Thursday.” “Yoga improves the quality of life and makes people strong mentally as well as physically,” he said on Wednesday.The AOL is organizing other yoga sessions across the state. The event will be inaugurated by governor Satya Pal Malik.The deputy CM has urged people to reach the Patliputra Sports Complex before 6am. “I do yoga every day to stay fit and young. It gives me positive energy,” quinquagenarian A K Pandey told this newspaper.Youngsters too are excited for the day.

PATNA: Around three thousand health enthusiasts are likely to take part in a mass yoga session being jointly organized by the state art, culture and youth affairs department, health department and the Art of Living (AOL) at the Patliputra Sports Complex to mark the fourth Yoga Day on Thursday.Union ministers Ram Kripal Yadav and Ravi Shankar Prasad, deputy chief minister (CM) Sushil Kumar Modi, health minister Mangal Pandey and art, culture and youth affairs minister Krishna Kumar Rishi, among others, will attend the session.
