Shah’s visit is being considered very significant as it would be his first to the state after the debacle of the then NDA comprising BJP, LJP, RLSP and HAM-S in the 2015 state assembly elections.Moreover, it is expected that Nitish, who was part of the grand alliance in 2015 and quit it in July last year, would further cement his ties with the BJP in the presence of Shah after going public that he and his party would remain with the NDA.
