PATNA: JD (U) national secretary general K C Tyagi issued a statement in New Delhi on Thursday, the day BJP president Amit Shah met CM Nitish Kumar over breakfast and dinner here, saying seat-sharing should be finalized among NDA partners at the earliest.“It will be good for all constituents of the NDA if a decision on seat-sharing is taken at the earliest as the Lok Sabha elections are not very far. RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s two sons – Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejashwi Prasad Yadav – took to social media to mock Shah’s visit and his meeting with Nitish.“It seems Nitish told Shah over breakfast not to eat much as he may again get stuck in the lift of the state guesthouse,” Tej tweeted. The same accused was later requested to campaign for JD (U) during Jokihat bypoll,” Tejashwi tweeted.Lalu’s younger son also came out with a Facebook post carrying a fictitious account of the meeting between Shah and Nitish, wherein he sought to emphasise that the stature of the CM had diminished upon return to the BJP-led coalition.RJD national vice-president Shivanand Tiwari said Shah, a “seasoned player”, showed Nitish his place by calling him in his “darbar” (read state guesthouse) immediately after reaching here.Loktantrik Janata Dal patron Sharad Yadav termed the BJP-JD (U) alliance as “unnatural”. “Nitish will not be able to continue in power for long,” he added.
