Wear long earrings and keep the makeup simple. And you are ready to go...This is how you can make heads turn at the party. Just tie your shirt near the waist and drape the sari in Gujarati style by bringing the pallu to the front and taking it round your neck. To complete the look, wear simple earrings. That way, the focus will be on your sari.Managing a sari can be a bit difficult for many but not if you wear it dhoti style. Drape the sari over your pants like a dhoti. If you want to leave everybody talking about your look, then you must try this style. Take a chiffon sari and fold it in half. Drape it around your waist and then place the rest of the sari on your shoulder. This look is both chic and comfortable. Go for same coloured leggings and a contrasting blouse. You can even wear a peplum top.If you are not used to wearing a sari, then pleats of your pallu can give you a tough time by repeatedly slipping off your shoulders. How about donning a sari without a pallu? Just drape your sari like a skirt and make pleats in front. Team it up with an ethnic top. Go for a top with Madhubani or kalamkari prints. You can also go for a silk sari as the pleats look neater. Either let your hair open or try a high braid.— Sweta Bharti and Alisha Shireen
