CHHAPRA: At least 3,000 examinees are likely to write the state-level BEd combined entrance test (CET) at six examination centres at Chhapra on Sunday.The CET is being conducted by Nalanda Open University (NOU), which has already issued admit cards online to the examinees.According to inspector of colleges Sudha Bala and Prof Rakesh Prasad of Zoology department at JP University, who has been appointed centre superintendent of the university campus centre, 507 examinees have been allotted P C Vigyan College, 586 Jagdam College, 550 Ganga Singh College, 300 JP University, 1,000 Rajendra College and 350 examinees have been allotted Jaglal Choudhary College examination centres at Chhapra.The varsity officials said on Saturday the examinees had been directed not to carry electronic gadgets, including calculator, cellphones, watches and debit/credit cards, with them. They have also been asked to wear half-sleeved shirt and ‘chappal’ and use black or blue ballpoint pen for writing answers.There are 15 BEd colleges under JP University. The colleges will be allotted to the successful examinees by NOU.Meanwhile, Saran DM Subrat Kumar Sen at a meeting with the centre superintendents on Saturday, directed them not to allow use of unfair means during the CET.
