It was then that one of the occupants pulled out a small firearm and opened fire at least two rounds on Sharma from very close range, killing him on the spot.CCTV footage of the incident had surfaced in which the occupants were shown fleeing in the car from the toll plaza, while other staff attacked it with plastic chair and other item, on which they could lay hand, in an attempt to stop it.After the incident, roads in the area including the national highway was blocked by villagers for more than six hours resulting in huge traffic blockade and people coming to Patna from districts of northern Bihar remained stuck in the jam had a harrowing time.Meanwhile, Dhillon said the car was later found abandoned at roadside in Hathsarganj under Town police station area in Hajipur at around“Owner book, pamphlets of real estate advertising and visiting cards of suspects were recovered from the car.
