Four injured in Nalanda bomb blast

The house was purchased from its owner Shiv Kumar Sao by one Rajeev Kumar a fortnight ago. Police rushed to the spot after being informed by the locals and cordoned off the house where the bomb exploded. On Wednesday, Rajeev with his brother Gautam went to clean the house where they found an old poly bag. “Sao now lives with his family in Raipur and his house was locked for the last several years. As soon as the bag was opened there was an explosion in which Gautam (17), and three other children of the locality, identified as Vikki Kumar (17), Roshan Kumar (15) and Jiya Kumari (18) sustained injuries,” said the DSP.All the injured have been admitted to Biharsharif sadar hospital where the condition of one of them is stated to be critical. Police rushed to the spot after being informed by the locals and cordoned off the house where the bomb exploded. Three more bombs were also recovered.A case has been lodged registered regarding the incident with the local police station and investigations were on.On March 23, six people, including three minor, had died and around 20 others were injured in an explosion at an illegal firecracker factory containing huge amount of gunpowder, which also brought down a residential building at Khasganj under the Sohsarai police station of Biharsharif.
