PATNA: Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi (SuMo) said on Wednesday that the simmering “dispute” in RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s family is set to burst open soon causing rift in the party and the grand alliance that comprises RJD, Congress, Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), Nationalist Congress Party and Samajwadi Party.Addressing the concluding session of the state BJP executive committee meeting in Bodh Gaya, SuMo said it would be “65 vs 35 fight” in favour of NDA in Bihar during the 2019 parliamentary elections. “As many as 65% of the people support the NDA in Bihar,” he explained.“The inner dispute between RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s sons Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav has been simmering for long and is now set to burst open soon,” SuMo said, adding: “It would put the RJD in complete disarray.”Tej Pratap recently issued a unilateral statement supporting the anger of upper caste groups against the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities Act), which was against the RJD line on the matter.
