PATNA: BJP’s Lok Sabha member Shatrughan Sinha on Friday once again trained guns on PM Narendra Modi on the rising fuel prices and controversial Rafale deal being raked up by the Congress against the NDA government at the Centre.Shotgun launched a veiled attack on the PM through a series of tweets. “Sir, what’s happening? I don’t want to fish in troubled waters but whether it is the skyrocketing petrol prices or the high rupee-dollar rate or the Rafale deal ... none of these we are being able to resolve ... This has led to mass disappointment and anguish. People only want results and not a ‘tu-tu. main-main’ blame game,” Shotgun tweeted. In another tweet, he stated: “And to make things worse, the present situation hovering over our heads is like adding Neem to an already bitter Karela (bitter gourd). People feel like Dhritrashtra of Mahabharata and are asking only one question, ‘Yeh sab kya ho raha hai’ (Why is all this happening?).”The actor-turned-politician, who has been showing open rebellion against his own party and has left BJP red-faced on several occasions in the past, also targeted the PM. “(Sirji) ?? ... Suppressing of this particular matter which is all over, difficult to believe that it’s without your blessings, consent and confirmation. Why are we endorsing the fact that people have been claiming since a while now, that our people and you Sir too have control over most of the media?” his another tweet reads.Meanwhile, JD(U) general secretary Sanjay Singh also urged the Centre to intervene on the issue of skyrocketing fuel prices. “Everyone is getting affected with the rising fuel prices. It has become a matter of grave concern and it is high time the Centre should take the required steps to bringing down the prices,” Sanjay said.Speculations are rife that the BJP might drop him from Patna Sahib parliamentary constituency in the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2019.
