PATNA: In a bid to up profitability, Andhra Bank will focus on lending to the RAM (retail, agriculture and micro, small and medium enterprises) segment as it offers better returns with less risk weights. So claims the executive director (ED) of public sector bank Kulbhusan Jain Addressing a customer awareness programme organized in coordination with Banking Codes and Standards Board of India at a city hotel on Friday, Jain said, “We are trying to reduce our share in the corporate sector (37%) and betting on the RAM segment (63%) because the risk is well spread.
