Justice without bias need of hour says Patna HC chief justice

He appealed to the youths to work for revival of the ancient glory of Bihar CNLU vice-chancellor Justice Mridula Mishra pointed out that the university came into being on August 15, 2006 with A Lakshminath as its founder vice-chancellor. They should rather utilize their knowledge in improving the system of providing legal services to the needy. The university offers both integrated undergraduate degrees and postgraduate research degrees in law.

PATNA: Patna high court chief justice M R Shah on Friday called upon the students pursuing legal education to serve the poor and contribute their might for the cause of the nation.Speaking as the chief guest at the 13th foundation day celebrations of Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) here, Shah, who is also the chancellor of this university, appreciated the achievements of the university in a very short span and lauded the performance of its students in various fields all these years.He said the students should pursue their courses with sincerity and dedication as the modern legal education has opened vistas for challenging jobs. “The law graduates should not hanker after lucrative jobs for money. They should rather utilize their knowledge in improving the system of providing legal services to the needy. The young professionals should ensure that the poorest of poor in the society gets justice without any discrimination,” Shah said.
