BIHARSHARIF: A 16-year-old girl, who is a native of a Nalanda village and was enrolled in a Biharsharif-based coaching institute, went missing on September 11.The missing girl’s parents lodged an FIR against one Vikas Kumar of Gare Bigha village under Vena police station area and six others on Saturday after they allegedly received a call to pay a ransom of Rs five lakh for the release of their daughter. In their complaint lodged with the Biharsharif Town police station on Saturday they said their 16-year-old daughter, who went to attend coaching classes in Biharsharif on September 11. did not return home.They accused Vikas of kidnapping their minor daughter on the basis of information they received from teachers and students of her coaching institute. They said they went to Vikas's village but his parents did not provide any information. However, village sources said that he was in Delhi. They said they did not inform police earlier to avoid social stigma. Biharsharif Town police station SHO Ashok Kumar said following the complaint a probe is on.Three critically hurt: Three pedestrians were critically injured after a speeding bike hit them near Tini Lodipur village on NH-32A under Nagarnausha police station in Nalanda district on Sunday morning.
