GAYA: Gyanoday, the two-day HR conclave, the first mega event organised by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bodh Gaya , concluded on Sunday.Experts from the field of human resource development gave tips to future business leaders on different aspects of man management required to deliver results.Participating in the concluding session, chief human resource manager Parthasarathi Mishra, OMQ division of the Tata Steels, stressed on the needs of employee satisfaction and gender neutrality. “Employee satisfaction is a must for better result delivery and talent retention. Gender discrimination of any kind is not good for any business unit and Tata Steels, religiously followed a gender neutral approach towards its employees. Treat employees as persons and not men and women,” said Mishra.The expert also dealt with the challenges thrown by ‘artificial intelligence’ and its impact on man management. “Artificial intelligence is no substitute to human intelligence. It can at best supplement human intelligence but it cannot replace it altogether. Technological imperfections have to be taken into account,” added the expert.IIM Bodh Gaya director Vinita Sahay exhorted her students to develop the quality to lead from the front and convert challenges into opportunities.
