PATNA: CM Nitish Kumar on Wednesday made an on-the-spot inspection of two solar power plants at Champapur and Radhiya villages in West Champaran district A 20kW solar mini grid plant has been installed at Champapur to provide power connection to all households under the Har Ghar Bijli Yojana.
He also distributed cheques among the beneficiaries of the Village Transport Scheme and the Student Credit Card Scheme.Nitish, later, visited Radhiya and inspected the functioning of a 10kW solar power plant.
He also inquired about the other problems of the villagers.After Champapur, the CM went to the Government Primary School at Champapur-Don and inspected a stall of agricultural equipment.
A total of 121 families in the village have been provided power connection from the grid.CM visited the houses of Etwaria Devi, Gorakh Oraon, Chandi Oraon, Parashnath Oraon and a few others to himself verify the availability of power in their homes.
He also launched a separate agriculture feeder there by distributing papers to providing connection to the farmers.
