PATNA: The online application for the post of junior civil engineer in Bihar Public Health Engineering Department ( PHED ) filed in the name of Sunny Leone also had her photograph on it, the department has revealed.The mention of the actor’s name as the draft merit list topper had created flutters. The list, released on February 15, had become public on Wednesday with many criticising the PHED for its recruitment policy. The PHED officials on Thursday lodged a complaint with Shastri Nagar police station here against an unknown person for filing the fake application.PHED minister Vinod Narayan Jha told this newspaper on Thursday that the department would not spare the applicant, who tried to put the state in bad light.PHED principal secretary Jitendra Srivastava said the IT cell of the department has found that even the photograph of Sunney Leone was used by the candidate in the application form. “We have lodged an FIR in this regard under different sections of the CrPC and the Information Technology (IT) Act. Efforts are also on to identify the other bogus applicants,” he said.Shrivastava added, “The system-based draft list was issued on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in academics and their work experience. Kumar said 17,000 candidates had applied for 214 posts through the PHED website.
