The Air Intelligence Unit for monitoring election expenses has started active election spending and monitoring of suspicious transactions from Friday itself. On the instructions of the Election Commission, the Income Tax Department has activated the Air Intelligence Unit. For this, a team of two officers has been deployed for intelligence officers at Patna`s Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport and Gaya International Airport. The Election Commission has given an order to all districts to maintain contact with the Air Intelligence Unit, so that information can be quickly exchanged from any district in the state if required.

On the instructions of the Election Commission, the Income Tax Department has deployed DDIT Rishikesh Pandey at Patna Airport and DDIT Ved Prakash at Gaya Airport. With their deployment, the movement of suspicious transactions and black money will be monitored during the flight. The two officials will be in touch with all the districts and will exchange information.
