Construction of Patna Metro started

Construction of Patna Metro Rail Project has started. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar started the project on Tuesday and said that the work of both its blocks will be completed in five years in any case. 

Construction of Patna Metro Rail Project has started. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar started the project on Tuesday and said that the work of both its blocks will be completed in five years in any case. 

The work from Malahi Pakdi to the new bus terminal is being started. The work of this part of about six kilometers will be completed in three years and its metro rail will start running. 

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 7700 crore schemes of various departments through video conferencing. 

The Chief Minister said that, "I had said from the very beginning that the Patna Metro would be constructed with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. This will make it the best way. It will be constructed at a cost of 13,590 crores. Central and state governments will give 20-20 percent amount and 60 percent loan will be taken."
