If a Congress-backed government is formed in Bihar, the Minimum Support Price Guarantee Act will be introduced for farmers. This was said by Congress National General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala, Bihar in-charge Shakti Singh Gohil and Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo here on Thursday.

It is alleged that with the help of new laws, the government wants to mortgage the farmer`s farm to the favorite companies. Claimed that all the allies of the grand alliance in Bihar are united.

In a press conference on Thursday at Sadaqat Ashram, Congress leaders alleged that the voice of farmers` interest was being suppressed in the Parliament and farmers were being beaten on the road. There is no discussion of `minimum support price` or MSP in all the three laws of the Center. The government should say that it is mandatory to give MSP to the farmers and on purchasing less than that, the government will compensate the loss and punish the guilty. If such a provision is made in law, then we will withdraw our movement.

He alleged that in the BJP-JDU, farmers eat and play friendship with the capitalists. Crores of farmer-laborers and more than 250 farmer organizations are raising their voice against these laws. But the government, bypassing everything, is tricking the country. The BJP and JDU government abolished the grain markets in Bihar by abolishing the APMC Act in 2006. Today the farmers of Bihar are in bad shape. The Modi government claims that with the new law, farmers will be able to sell their grains anywhere in the country. They should tell which law before this Kannu prevented them from doing so. Congress leaders said that the intention of the government is really poor and anti-farmer. She knows that if both the government procurement and the minimum support price are over, the food grains for the poor found at the ration shop will automatically end. State President Madan Mohan Jha, Legislative Party leader Sadanand Singh and Campaign Committee President Akhilesh Singh were also present on the occasion.
