On Friday afternoon, the Chief Election Commissioner has announced the dates of Bihar assembly elections. Elections will be held in three phases in Bihar. Votes will be counted on 10 November. The assembly election to be held in the midst of the Corona crisis is considered to be very important.

At the same time, in the preparations for the election of Bihar Legislative Assembly during the Corona period, many arrangements are being made for the health security of the voters. The Election Commission is active on several fronts. To avoid the dangers of infection, it has been decided to sanitize EVMs after every voter casts their vote. For the first time, the Commission has entrusted many responsibilities directly to the Health Department. In this light, the Principal Secretary of the Health Department directed all the civil surgeons of the province to speed up the election preparations.

It has been decided by the Health Department that during the election, measures to prevent corona will be adopted with seriousness. Voters who come to the booth to vote will have to wear masks and globs. Voters who do not wear masks will prevent the Health Department team from voting. The voter must follow two yards. Health workers will be deployed at every booth. Not only this, the District Health Committee has been directed from the headquarters to take special vigil on the day of voting. EVMs will be sanitized after each voter casts their vote. Voters will be able to use EVMs only by wearing globs.

Physicians can also be appointed magistrates, this time along with administrative officers in districts, doctors can also be appointed magistrates. According to officials, till now the role of the Health Department was to provide health facilities. In the wake of Corona, the role of doctors in the election has been increased.
