6 arrested for bargaining for smacks outside the airport

The police of the airport station raided the verandah of a temple at the Veterinary College on Thursday night. During this, the police arrested six businessmen and sent them to jail while bargaining for smack.

The police of the airport station raided the verandah of a temple at the Veterinary College on Thursday night. During this, the police arrested six businessmen and sent them to jail while bargaining for smack. Police seized a smack and mobile worth Rs 17.5 thousand from the possession of the accused. Used to sell a smack pudding for Rs 500. 

The arrested businessmen include Rakesh Kumar Uphrapur Phulwarisharif, Siddharth Gurung Khajpura Bagicha, Sumit Gurung Mohini Gali, Chandveer Kumar Ashiana Mod, Shubhashish Buddha Bihar Colony Mahuabag Rupaspur and Siddhant Parihar Mahuabagh Rupaspur. 

Airport station in-charge Arun Kumar said that all the accused had smuggled smacks for the last one year. They all had fun with the money of smack. He has been fond of wearing expensive clothes with branded shoes. All the arrested accused lived in rented flats in Mahuabagh, Khajpur and Ashiana Mor. 

Police say that many more other members are also involved in the gang of these businessmen. They are also being searched. The station in-charge says that the smugglers and Charas` eminent smugglers who were active in Patna may have links to these accused in Jakkanpur`s sister-in-law Gang. This connection is also being investigated.
