The picture of alliances in the Bihar assembly elections is not clear yet. Nominations for the first phase of 71 seats will start only two days later, but it is not yet clear which parties will remain or join the alliance. Both the major coalitions NDA and the Grand Alliance have suffered a rift. In the NDA, where the LJP`s attitude is strong, the exit of the RLSP from the Grand Alliance is considered certain. Congress is also claiming its readiness in all 243 seats if there is no honorable agreement. On the other hand, small parties have started forming alliances in the elections.

In the NDA, LJP president Chirag Paswan is keeping close proximity to the BJP on the one hand, and on the other side has kept the front against Jaduy. He is claiming to field candidates for 143 seats. The implication of this claim of 143 seats is that he will not contest against the BJP. But this thing is not directly digestible to the people. In fact, it has been decided in the NDA that the seat sharing will be between JDU and BJP and these two parties will give up their share of seats for us and LJP respectively. In this case, the implications of Chirag Paswan`s displeasure with JDU are different. People have started calling Chirag Chirag a political chess piece.

On the other hand, rebel post of RLSP has also created a rift in the grand alliance. Upendra Kushwaha questioned Tejashwi Yadav`s eligibility for the post of CM and broke his ties with the RJD in a way. The RJD has given the answer to the RLSP state president Bhudev Chaudhary on Monday. In such a situation, it is clear that the RLSP is set to break away from the Grand Alliance, but it will be difficult to say whether she will follow the path of Ekla Chalo or become part of any other alliance. By the way, the coalition has been changing in Upendra Kushwaha elections. On the other hand, the seat-sharing between the Congress and the RJD has not yet been resolved. Inspired by the RJD`s attitude, the Congress has announced that its preparations are on all 243 seats.

Coalition of small parties

Meanwhile, small parties have started making alliances to break into the base of the NDA and the Grand Alliance. All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi has formed a joint democratic secular alliance with Samajwadi Janata Dal (D), the party of former Union minister Devendra Prasad Yadav in Bihar elections. Japp president Pappu Yadav on Monday announced the formation of a progressive democratic coalition. This alliance includes Azad Samaj Party, Social Democratic Party and Bahujan Mukti Party. Many more small parties are in talks. Although these parties have not had any major support base in any election, but behind the exercise of forming an alliance among themselves, they have specific goals.

This time a different experiment is also being done in Bihar elections. Alliance within the alliance. The two big core components of the coalition are carrying small teams with them. In this way, smaller parties are contesting under the shadow of big parties. This new experiment is visible in both the NDA and the Grand Alliance.

The two main parties of the NDA, JDU and BJP, have agreed to share seats among themselves. After the seats are divided, the BJP will leave the LJP with its quota and the JDU will leave the seats for the Ham with its share. It is also worth noting that when LJP announced that it would field candidates against JDU and its allies, we also announced candidates for all the seats from where LJP candidates would be. In this regard, LJP spokesman Ashraf Ansari says that his party is talking to BJP and not JDU on seat sharing.

The same situation is there in the grand alliance. Different parties are associated with RJD and Congress. If the Left parties are talking to the RJD, then the responsibility of giving seats to the NCP has been left to the Congress.
