In the light of the surge in the Covid-19 cases in the state, the Bihar government on Tuesday imposed lockdown in the state till May 15. The decision of chief minister Nitish Kumar came after Patna high court on Monday asked the state government to control the Covid-19 situation and declare a lockdown or it will have to pass an appropriate order.

For traveling during the lockdown period, an e-pass will be required.

How to apply for an e-pass

To obtain an e-pass issued for your personal vehicle, you will have to apply online at serviceonline.bihar.gov.in .
You will have to provide complete information about the work for which you require a pass and the number of people going with you.

After the approval of your application by the district administration, an e-pass will be issued for your personal vehicle. You will be informed about this by registered email or by link on mobile.

After this, you will be able to take a print of the issued e-pass and go for the necessary work from your personal vehicle.
