Officials solve Patna metro project issue by sitting down

An initiative has been taken to sit the team of Patna Metro and Bridge Construction Corporation and solve the technical issue.

The obstacle being faced by the Lohiya Path Chakra under construction in some part of Patna Metro Corridor-1 to be built on Bailey Road will soon be removed.

In this regard, Delhi Metro Corporation Limited, the agency working for Patna Metro, has written a letter to the Bridge Construction Corporation.

In this, an initiative has been taken to sit the team of Patna Metro and Bridge Construction Corporation and solve the technical issue.

In this regard, the officials associated with the Lohia Path Chakra say that there is no big obstacle due to the Lohia Path Chakra. There are some issues in one or two places, for which efforts are being made.

Whatever issues are there will be settled after meeting in one to two days.

According to sources, the route from Lalit Bhawan to Harkali Mor on Bailey Road needs some coordination between the two projects. The rest of the case is fit. Patna Metro`s Vikas Bhawan station is also to be built near the striking turn, which will be underground.

The Metro Corridor-1 from Danapur to Khemnichak is about 17 km long. It is proposed to build 14 metro stations.

The Metro route from Danapur to Patliputra station in Bailey Road will be upstream which will remain underground from Rukanpura till Patna Junction. After this, there is a proposal of Mithapur to Khemnichak and then an upstream metro route.

The second corridor will be from Patna station to Patliputra ISBT which will be about 14 km long. It will have 12 metro stations. It is to be known that by 2024, a target has been set to start operating the metro on two corridors.

The metro route will be about 32 km long by combining both corridors.
