The forecast of heavy rain with thunder in 12 districts of Bihar has been given by the Weather Science Center of Patna today. Monsoon in Bihar remains active continuously in the state. People got some relief from the humidity due to rain in the capital Patna and surrounding areas on Thursday night.

At the same time, there is a possibility of wind and rain at a speed of 7.5 km per hour in Patna on Friday. The entire state received 799.9 mm of rain during the monsoon season, which is 16 per cent more than the normal.

According to the Meteorological Center, the trough-line of Monsoon is passing through East Central Bay of Bengal via Ganganagar, Narnaul, Gwalior, Satna, Balasore.

At the same time, East West Trough is passing from South West Rajasthan through South Bihar, South Haryana and UP. Under its influence, light to moderate rain is forecast at some places over the south, northeast and north-central parts of the state.

Meteorologist Sanjay Kumar said that the Monsoon has formed an area of ??cyclonic circulation over South Bihar, due to which the areas around it including Patna will remain cloudy. There is a chance of rain with thunder.

During the last 24 hours, many parts of the state recorded rain. In which 61.2 mm has been recorded in Galgalia of Kishanganj, 10 mm in Patna, 60.2 mm in Palmerganj in Aurangabad, 59 mm in Taibpur of Kishanganj, 46.4 mm in Gaya.

On Friday, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder at one or two places in Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saharsa, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Munger, Khagadia etc. districts of the state.
