According to the Meteorological Department, on Monday, dark clouds started forming in the sky. From the view, there was an atmosphere of monsoon rain, but due to the heat that lasted for two days, it is happening. The Meteorological Department says that since 12 noon, rains have started in more than a dozen areas of Patna.

In this, rain started first in the areas of Rajiv Nagar, Patliputra, Shastri Nagar, Patel Nagar, Boring Road, Dak Bungalow and Kotwali area. After this, along with Beur, it started raining in other areas as well. Along with Phulwari, it is raining in the surrounding areas as well. The Meteorological Department says that due to lack of monsoon rains, no significant change in the maximum temperature is forecast.

Although the Meteorological Department has warned of rain in Bihar till August 26, but there was no specific alert regarding other districts including Patna in South Bihar.

The Meteorological Department has issued an immediate alert in the afternoon of the onset of rain. Earlier, the Meteorological Department had predicted rain on August 26 in the general alert. The Meteorological Department has reported less rain in the districts of South Bihar.

At the same time, rain occurred at many places in West Champaran, Siwan, Saran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Sheohar, Samastipur, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saharsa, Purnia and Katihar in North Bihar. The forecast was given. In South Bihar, rain was predicted at few places in Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabua, Aurangabad, Arwal, Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Jehanabad, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Munger and Khagaria. . Regarding this, the Meteorological Department says that the weather was dry for two days and due to this it rained in Patna.
