While the water level of rivers continues to rise due to incessant rains in Nepal and Terai regions as well as in North Bihar, smaller rivers are wreaking havoc due to rain. Here, after the rain on Monday, there was waterlogging in many places in the capital Patna. After the rain, there was water logging outside the Bihar assembly as well.

Earlier too, water had entered the Bihar assembly complex after the rains in June. Not only this, the residential complex of Deputy Chief Minister Renu Devi was also flooded.

Here, hundreds of villages of dozens of panchayats of two or three blocks of Muzaffarpur district, are not able to recover from the havoc of small rainy rivers. Due to the increase in the water level of these rivers in the area of ??Sakra block due to incessant rains, the problems of the people have increased. Several feet of water is flowing on the roads along with the flood water in the houses.

The condition of Jogni Panchayat of Sakra block is even worse, where people have to bear the brunt of flood water up to 3 to 4 feet. Due to this, the houses of the local people as well as the main road roads have been badly affected. At the same time, due to flood water entering the houses, they have been forced to live at higher places and the local administration along with the local public representatives is not ready to take any care of them for help.

People say that the water level of Kadane river has increased here since last one week, which is continuing. Due to which people are scared. The same Harinandan Thakur told that the condition here is so bad due to the flood in the river that thousands of people have been affected even now. Everyone got tired of telling the officer but no one is ready to take care.

Local villager Santosh says that the condition has become so bad that due to the breach of the dam of the river, the connectivity with the market has been cut off. So we are worried. Here I am working as a guard myself, so that people are safe. He told that he has made his house as a stand so that people can park their vehicles here and walk on foot.

On this matter, District Officer Pranav Kumar said that the water level of the small river has increased. Due to this there is a flood situation in some villages but the administration is keeping an eye on it and the concerned area officer has been directed.
