Mobile snatched from passenger in moving train in Patna

After the mobile fell, Rahul started making noise. The passengers of the train stopped the train by pulling the chain. The local people and the traveler started chasing the miscreant. But the miscreants opened fire and started running while firing.

The incident which took place near Tall Junction of Hathidah Rail Police Station area of ??Patna district created panic in the area. In the 05564 Down Antyodaya Express going from Udhna to Jaynagar, miscreants snatched the mobile of a passenger in a moving train. After the incident, the passengers stopped the vehicle by pulling the chain.

When the miscreant was chased, they started firing. Hearing the sound of firing, youths living near Aunta Halt chased him and informed the police. The incident took place on the link line near Tall Junction of Mokama-Kiul railway line.

The victim passenger is Rahul Yadav, son of Arun Yadav of Sidhpakala village of Ladnian police station in Madhubani district. He was going from Udhna to Madhubani. He told that he was talking on the mobile near the window. As soon as the train climbed on the link line from Tall Junction to board Rajendra Setu, five miscreants snatched the mobiles by beating them with sticks.

After the firing, the passengers ran for their lives. After that, the miscreants were leaving comfortably waving their kattas when Shoaib Akhtar, the Hathidah Police Station, laid siege with the force.

Here, after getting information about the incident, Mokama GRP and RPF reached the spot along with the team and arrested a miscreant from near Taradevi Memorial High School in Hathidah. The arrested miscreant is Ajay Kumar (19 years) son of Amarjeet Nishad, a resident of Simaria Bind Toli of Chakia police station in Begusarai district.

Others their accomplices managed to escape after seeing the police. Police is conducting raids to arrest other miscreants.
