Now the strike will end! Patna High Court directs sanitization workers to return to work

The Chief Justice of the Patna High Court, while hearing the matter on the initiative of the Advocate General, has also given important instructions to the state government to take a decision on the demands of the corporation workers within eight weeks.

There is news of relief for the people of Bihar. Now once again the work of cleanliness in the city will be started as before. In fact, due to the strike of the civic body workers for the last 8 days, the cleaning work was stalled across the state. But now the Patna High Court has directed the striking sweepers to return to work immediately.

The Chief Justice of the Patna High Court, while hearing the matter on the initiative of the Advocate General, has also given important instructions to the state government to take a decision on the demands of the corporation workers within eight weeks.

The division bench of Chief Justice Sanjay Karol, while hearing the matter, has also directed the Bihar government to consider the demands of the corporation workers and pass a decision within eight weeks.

On behalf of the government also, the Urban Development and Housing Department told the court that the government is considering the demand of the municipal workers. The advocate of the striking sanitization workers also presented the side of the municipal workers in the court and said that if the government is ready to consider the demands, then the scavengers will also return to work.

Today is the eighth day of the strike of the municipal sanitation workers. In such a situation, now the condition of other cities including Patna is becoming hellish.

The streets of the capital are littered with garbage, thousands of tonnes of garbage are scattered in different areas of the city. The risk of infection to people also remains constant. Here in Bihar, there have already been cases of viral fever and swine flu.

In such a situation, if this strike continues, then the people of the state may have to face many other diseases.
