Bihar's first lift foot overbridge built in Patna, bridge built at a cost of 3.5 crores

Two lifts have been installed on both sides of this foot over bridge built at a cost of Rs 3 crore 44 lakh. Those people who are disabled and elderly can cross the foot over bridge and go to the other side with the help of this lift.

The foot over bridge with Bihar`s first lift on the six-lane Atal Path in Patna was inaugurated on Monday. Bihar`s Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen inaugurated the foot over bridge on Atal Path.

Many facilities have been given in this footbridge built on Atal Path, which is being seen for the first time in Bihar. Two lifts have been installed on both sides of this foot over bridge built at a cost of Rs 3 crore 44 lakh. Those people who are disabled and elderly can cross the foot over bridge and go to the other side with the help of this lift.

The ladder for the common people has also been made keeping in mind the technical convenience. A stop platform has been made after every 10 steps so that there is no problem in climbing up together. In the coming days, the residents of Patna will get 3 more footover bridges, in which about 80% work has been completed on two while land acquisition work is pending for one.

CM Nitish Kumar gave instructions after inspection for the foot over bridge on Atal Path. During the inspection of Atal Path, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had found that there is no foot over bridge to go from one side to the other, which can increase the problems of the people. Following the instructions of CM Nitish Kumar, it was decided to build a four foot over bridge on Atal Path.

On Patna`s Atal Path, trains leave unabated from R Block to Digha. No turn has been made in the middle so that people can go from one side to the other with speed on this road.

People from several localities adjoining Atal Path like Mahesh Nagar, Punaichak, Rajiv Nagar had demonstrated a month ago demanding that some measures be taken to cross the road so that people can avoid accidents.

After the construction of this foot over bridge in Patna, people will have great convenience. While the local people are happy with the opening of the new bridge, the youth could not stop themselves from taking selfies on the occasion of the opening of this bridge.
