Nitish Kumar sworn-in 6th time as Bihar CM; Sushil Modi as his Deputy

The political drama in Bihar came to end with JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar taking oath sixth time as chief minister in the state. Governor Keshri Nath Tripathi administered the oath to Nitish Kumar at the Raj Bhawan. Sushil Modi has been administered oath as deputy chief minister in the state. On Wednesday evening Nitish Kumar had tendered his resignation as Chief Minister.

The political drama in Bihar came to end with JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar taking oath sixth time as chief minister in the state.

Governor Keshri Nath Tripathi administered the oath to Nitish Kumar at the Raj Bhawan. Sushil Modi has been administered oath as deputy chief minister in the state. On Wednesday evening Nitish Kumar had tendered his resignation as Chief Minister. Political drama continues with the BJP conducting a high level meeting and finally coming out in support of Nitish Kumar. Initially, the oath taking was to take place at 5 pm on Thursday which was then changed to 11 am. Finally, it was said that the oath taking ceremony would take place at 10 am. The new cabinet is expected to have some new faces.

Earlier, Bihar politics witnessed a high voltage political drama and Political activities geared up with BJP conducting a high-level meeting. In the late evening, the picture became clear with NDA supporting Nitish Kumar.

Also, a massive uproar among the RJD took place which was demanding that Governor should call them being the largest party. Around 2:15 am Tejashwi Yadav along with 100 MLAs had reached the Raj Bhawan and protested.

However, they dispersed after some time but expressed their resentment over the decision taken by Governor. Tejashwi in a series of tweets attacked the Governor.
