The second round of counselling for PG medical and dental courses began on Tuesday. In the first round of counselling, out of the 147 students who were allotted seats through Centac, only 25 paid their fees. The Centralised Admission Committee (Centac) announced that students can choose from the vacant seats available in the medical and dental institutions in Puducherry. Meanwhile, the government said that the request for re-fixation of fee structure by private medical institutions for the postgraduate medical and dental courses has been rejected. Centac Coordinator (Admission) Rudra Goud said that the students can start remitting the fee for the courses they choose and block their allotted seats.
