Five arrested on charge of molestation

The police have detained Vicky, 20, Mugilan, 19, Surya, 20 and two juveniles, all hailing from Vazhuthavur in Villupuram district. The victim was allegedly molested at Vazhuthavur in Villupuram district by the accused. According to the police, the victim got acquainted with Vicky during her frequent trips to Villupuram to meet her grandparents. The police have detained five persons and two juveniles on charges of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl. Last week, the accused took her to an isolated place at Vazhuthavur and molested her.
