HM Amit Shah Campaigns In Puducherry Before Assembly Elections

Home Minister Amit Shah attended a roadshow in Puducherry on Thursday and asked for votes for the BJP candidates. Voting for the Assembly in the Union Territory will be held on April 6.

Home Minister Amit Shah attended a roadshow in Puducherry on Thursday and asked for votes for the BJP candidates. Voting for the Assembly in the Union Territory will be held on April 6.

Shah also visited the Siddhananda temple at Karunadikuppam after reaching Lavaspet airport here.

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, BJP local unit president V Saminathan and former PWD minister and BJP candidate from Mannadipet A Namasivam were also present with Shah. Shah is visiting Puducherry for the second time, Earlier, he held an election rally in Karaikal in February. In the Union Territory, BJP has fielded candidates for 9 assembly seats. In the NDA, its ally AINRC has fielded candidates for 16 seats and AIADMK for the remaining five seats.
