Pondicherry University Postpones All Exams Due To Covid-19

Puducherry University has postponed all the theory and practical examinations in the affiliated colleges till further orders, due to the alarming Covid-19 situation in the country. These examinations were to be held from 19 April. University administration has said that the new dates will be announced later.

Earlier, examinations in Rajasthan University, Uttarakhand Kumaon University and all universities of Uttar Pradesh have also been postponed.

The UT government instructed all colleges to conduct online classes, last month in March.

On March 11, the Governor approved the proposal to declare `all pass` status to Classes 1 to 9 students for this academic year.

The condition of coronavirus in the country is continuously worsening. On Thursday, 2 lakh 17 thousand 353 people were found positive for Covid-19
