Puducherry: 11 test positive for Covid-19 at Puducherry CM N Rangasamy's oath-taking ceremony

The Puducherry Health Department`s mobile team tested people for Covid-19 at the swearing-in site of Chief Minister N Rangasamy on Friday, where 11 people tested positive for coronavirus.

N Rangasamy was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Puducherry on Frida . 11 people were found positive for Covid-19, Out of 183 people involved in the swearing-in ceremony; however, entry to the venue was limited to a limited number of people. Rangasamy became the Chief Minister of Puducherry for the fourth time, but this would be the first time he would run a coalition government. He will lead the NDA government, which includes AINRC and the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The Puducherry Health Department`s mobile team tested people for Covid-19 at the swearing-in site of Chief Minister N Rangasamy on Friday, where 11 people tested positive, out of the 11 people who got infected, 9 were policemen deployed in security, while 2 others were invited to the ceremony.

When the local administration came to know about the infected people at the function, their entry into the venue was banned. later, all these infected were immediately sent to the hospital. Following the security protocol, the administration examined all those who were deployed for security later in the program.
