IISER aptitude test for five-year course on June 24

Pune: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research will conduct the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) for aspirants who wish to apply for the five-year integrated BS-MS course on June 24. The examination will be an OMR-based.Students who have applied for admission to the five-year BS-MS can now download their online hall-tickets from the official website.The aptitude test will have multiple-choice questions in biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics with equal weightage. The duration of the IAT is 180 minutes. The results will be declared on July 3. Each subject will have 15 questions.

The examination will be an OMR-based.Students who have applied for admission to the five-year BS-MS can now download their online hall-tickets from the official website.The aptitude test will have multiple-choice questions in biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics with equal weightage. The duration of the IAT is 180 minutes. Each subject will have 15 questions. The marking scheme is +3 marks for all correct responses, 0 for no response and -1 for wrong response.“A single city will have multiple centres and the hall ticket will have the centre details printed. If the examination cannot be conducted in any of the centres due to unforeseen reasons, the candidate would be allotted an alternate centre,” says the official website.The syllabus for the IAT will be available on the website at https://www.iiseradmission.in Students can also visit the website for model question papers which will be available in two languages namely English and Hindi.Students selected will be allotted to these IISERs in Pune, Mohali, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Kolkata, Bhopal and Berhampur.
