Treat swine flu free for poor, pvt hospitals told

Pune Municipal Corporation chikungunya Deepak Sawant Oseltamivir (PMC) commissioner Saurabh Rao has written to the district collector, requesting him to issue orders to private hospitals across the district to provide free treatment to swine flu patients with weak economic backgrounds.The fall in temperature has given rise to a number of swine flu cases across the district and most government-run hospitals are running full due to the rise in cases of flu-like illness, dengue and. PMC assistant health chief Dr Anjali Sabne said, “Patients who are suffering from suspicious symptoms of swine flu are administered(tami-flu) immediately but if they are diagnosed late, their condition gets critical and they have to be hospitalised.
