PUNE: The relatives of a 29-year-old lance naik from Latur , who was declared brain-dead while serving at Siachen Glacier , donated his vital organs to give a new lease of life to a fellow soldier in need of a heart transplant.The heart transplant was carried out at the Research and Referral (RR) Hospital of the Indian Army in New Delhi on Wednesday. He saved life of a fellow soldier and it is no less a feat for the entire family.”The donor’s last rites were performed in Latur on Thursday.
